Merit Badge College 2017

Date: Saturday  February 4, 2017  at Central Columbia Middle School from 9am till 5pm with registration beginning at 8:05am.  Preliminary information for this event is as follows with information to be added as available. Registration for this event will begin 1st week in December, but here is a listing of merit badges to be offered thus far as well as time preparation needed for various badges.

Athletics  (4 months prep time or 1 season)
Citizenship in the Community

Citizenship in the Nation
Digital Technology
Disabilities Awareness
Family Life (90 days prep time)
Model Design and Building
Personal Fitness (12 weeks)
Salesmanship (counselor would like scouts to participate in fall popcorn sales using this badge as a guide to complete badge)

Stamp Collecting

 (4 months prep time or 1 season)
Veterinary Medicine

Would like to offer Chemistry, Public Health, and Dentistry badges this year due to scout interest for these badges—we need counselors for these badges in particular.

The Technology Committee along with the Columbia Montour Council is now able to offer Units the ability to host websites for units on the Council Website. The websites do not require technical skills and are easy to update all from your web browser. These websites will be FREE OF CHARGE to units and offer the following pages and functionality to units.
