Upcoming Training Courses (Adult & Youth)
Adult
New Council Training Policy: The new policy in effective 1/1/2022 states that all adults prior to the 2023 rechartering in fall of 2022 must have:
Completed YPT that does not expire during the upcoming year (Taken yearly)
Completed Position Specific Training associated with their chartered position(s) (Take once, never expires)
Completed Hazardous Weather Training if a direct contact leader (Taken every 2 years)

YPT (Youth Protection Training): There will be classroom courses available over the summer at the Council Service Center. Thursday, June 21 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm; Monday, July 18 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm; Saturday, July 23 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am; and Thursday, August 11 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. This training is free but please register to attend.

Youth
NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training): NYLT is an exciting, action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.
