Scouts BSA Camping
Every year scouts travel to Camp Lavigne for a traditional, unit-centered, Scout Resident Camp in the summer; as well as Wilderness Living Camp.

Sunday evening - opening Campfire
Monday evening - Spartan run
Tuesday evening - in-camp cooking / Chef competition
Wednesday evening - Water Carnival
Thursday evening - OA Day (OA members may wear OA gear during the day and may wear the OA sash to supper); movie in the evening, opportunities for OA Ordeal Members to receive the Brotherhood honor.

C.O.P.E. and Climbing Tower

Camp Lavigne has a 4-story climbing tower with internal open shaft with attached elements; internal wrapping staircase to all levels; external climbing wall with adjustable handholds; repelling from multiple openings include the roof; connected high rope elements; 300 ft. zipline; low C.O.P.E. elements near climbing tower.

During summer camp, the climbing program offers the Climbing Merit Badge and open sessions for climbing, repelling, the Anaconda climb (climbing a 3-inch hanging rope end-to-end), and a specialty program called the Spidey, which earns a patch (earned by completing several high ropes elements, such as Brother's Ladder).

Other Scouts BSA Camping
Spring Camporee in late April/early May has scouts showing their skills while competing for the gold and having fun.
Fall Camporee in September/October offers scouts fun fall competition, such as a raft regatta.
