Planning to take a high adventure trip or attending a BSA high adventure base, someone in your groups will need Wilderness First Aid (WFA) training. This course covers the first aid skills needed when in the back-country. WFA is only valid for 2 years.
The course is 16 hours long, consisting of:
- 8 hour online skill learning – Cost $26 (Discounted) -$40 (Full Cost)
- 8 hour practical course – Cost $45 – June 6 at Montour Preserve
The prerequisite for taking WFA is you MUST have a current CPR/AED certification. If you need this course:
- CPR/AED Certification – Cost $10 – June 5 at TBD
