Adults can now register online. Have them go to BeAScout.org and find the unit they want to join. Click Register and fill out all the information and payment. Make sure all required information is filled in, including date of SYT expiration. Missing information will hold up the application process. Make sure the person has taken the position training needed for the position they are registering for. Council may suspend the person for incomplete/missing position training.
Only the COR can approve the online application for adults and assign a position on my.scouting.org under Application Manager. The COR, Committee Chair, and Unit Leader can approve the online application for youth.
