National has ended their Unit Recognition Program and have encouraged Councils to create their own. Cake Licensing Request for Bakery
Recognizing a Scout for attaining the rank of Eagle? Celebrating your packs Blue & Gold?
Whatever the occasion, submit your request for permission to use a commercial bakery for use of any Scouting America logos on a cake using the Cake Request Form.
Please note that it takes 2-3 business days to review requests and respond accordingly.
Membership Fees for 2025
The Annual Membership Fees for 2025 are:
- Cub Scouts – $132
- Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts – $136
- Exploring Youth and Adults – $89
- Adults in Units, District, and Council – $116
- Merit Badge Counselors (not registered in other position) – $25
- Unit Renewal – $100
Membership Applications Checklist
Check HERE for the form to aid as a check list for what must accompany all application forms. This is the year that most of the 5-year PA background checks will be due. We will issue this receipt for each application that is submitted to the office. Please note that because of the immense number of items to be turned in that it is required that all items must be turned in with the application including payment.
YPT and Youth Turning 18 Yr Old
Youth turning 18 yrs old who plan on staying in Scouting as an adult leader or adult participant in Venturing, Sea Scouts, or Exploring, have 30 days to complete adult registration. If not completed within 30 days, must stop all scouting participation until completed. This includes:
- Fill out an Adult Application with CBC
- Complete Youth Protection Training (YPT) – online at my.scouting.org
- Background Clearances – Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse, and Disclosure form or FBI Fingerprinting – Clearance requirements and instruction found at PA Child Protection Services Act on Council Website
- Leader Position Training – online at my.scouting.org(Not needed for adult participant in Venturing, Sea Scouts, or Exploring)
- Pay registration fees
